I got this from Fusion for Christmas. I'm told the buggy is actually a licensed copy of the Haobao Hyper 7 or 8 .28 made in China and sold under the Ansmann brand in Europe.
The buggy looks very high quality out of the box. Had no trouble getting it running the first time and broken in.
The buggy performance is awesome. At low speeds it's actually slightly overpowered and virtually impossible to control at full throttle. It's good for 40mph+ at full speed. Brakes come nicely balanced to the rear for 'hand brake turns'. Centre differencial needs heavier oil straight off to stop it ballooning up the front inside wheel and gyroscoping itself over in corners under power.. This isn't noticable until the diff loosens up after a few tanks. Diff oil is like £4. Easy fix/tune up.
The negative side, I have to say, is the robustness of the plastic suspension leaves a lot to be desired. Replacements are cheap, yes, but the plastic is very, very easy to break. Even a mid speed roll over broke a suspension holder on me. Clipping a curb at less than walking speed broke a rear hub carrier and lower suspension arm. The alloy upgrades are much stronger, but 4 to 5 times the price of the plastic parts.
I have crashed mine a few times into curbs and once into a wall. All were fairly low speed, all broke one or more plastic suspension parts.
I sumarise it as a really good buggy, as long as you don't mind spending £20 every time you run it on the parts you will break.
